Daryl Hawkins took a special interest in the remodel of this circa 1949 church complex, which included a Sanctuary and gym, with classrooms added in the 1970's. The pastor had studied as a teenager with Hawkins' father in the Salinas Nazarene Church, and was happy to call on Daryl for help in modernizing their facilities. New window treatments and a sloping gable roof complimented existing stained glass windows, while a smooth stucco and brick exterior finished the exterior. In order to increase the usable space, the existing tower was removed and the Foyer was enlarged, adding new restrooms and access to the gym area. A remodel of the Sanctuary interior is planned for the future.
