As one of the first small private developments in the former Fort Ord base, JHW had to research and find answers to numerous questions such as utility locations, lead and asbestos abatement, and City of Seaside requirements, in order to complete the construction documents and secure a building permit. The final result is a facility that provides 12,000 s.f. of space consisting of 4 large classrooms, a law library, as well as staff and faculty offices. This will allow the College of Law to better serve and expand their student body. Another 6,000 s.f. building on the site will be remodeled as Phase 2, for a 200 seat auditorium and administrative offices when they become necessary.
